thanks for the warning.
I'm the admin of the Ottawa wiki, I've disable anonymous edit in fear
that might happen.

if you want to secure it, put this in the LocalSettings.php:
$wgGroupPermissions['*']['edit'] = false;
$wgWhitelistRead = array ("Special:Userlogin");

of course there is more detail on the MediaWiki Wiki but I though I'll
but it here for the lazy.
