Mr. Angus asked about Bev Oda's fundraiser again in the house. It's
great to have this being talked about, and how there seems to be a subset
of stakeholders who have the ear of the Heritage Minister more than any
other.
Mr. Angus is MP for Timmins--James Bay

We need to do our part to get Copyright mentioned as often as possible.
We need to push hard to get more signatures to our petitions. I'm working
hard to get a batch tabled by a member in the Calgary area, but will have
few left for other MPs who I'm having conversations with.
People who signed the first petition (Petition for Users Rights) should
also sign the second petition (Petition to protect ICT property rights).
I think it is important to have signatures to this second petition as it
serves as an important educational moment for parliamentarians to realize
that proposed changes to the Copyright act harm tangible property rights.
Are there thoughts on how to get more signatures? Are there events
coming up that people can bring petitions to to get signatures?
