Does anyone live in, or know people in the riding of Halton, Ontario?

I'm interested in trying to get Garth Turner interested in our
copyright/etc related issues. He has recently posted an article about Net
Neutrality, so might like to hear from constituents.

Is it possible to organize a specific signature-gathering campaign in
the riding so that we can get a bundle (Minimum 30 signatures for each
petition, to ensure that when they get looked over that at least 25 will
be considered valid) to Mr. Turner to table in the house? I think as an
independent he might be ideal for trying to inject some sanity into the
upcoming copyright debate, and now is the critical time to reach him.
While I'm not in the riding I have still added comments, as his blog is
very well read across Canada.

I'm also wondering if there are people in the two ridings with current
by-elections. Are any of the candidates talking about technology law, new
media, etc issues?
Repentigny (Quebec) and London North Centre (Ontario) elections for
