So was Microsoft Internet Explorer, until very recently. Mainly as a result 
of the popular cross-platform Mozilla +Firefox, the percent of IE visitors 
has dropped -- at my own site, now 64% IE instead of past 75% to 80% IE.

That's obviously no longer a defacto standard.
