Two groups try to claim that it is copyright law, not the harmful
practises of the recording industry, that are to blame for musicians not
getting "fair rates" for their music.

There are also misdirection about the nature of the private copying levy
from the most obvious special interest group, the CPCC itself.

Send in some letters to the editor -- we are not against musicians or
music, but the recording industry that is wanting to protect their
outdated busienss models at all costs. Musicians need to realize that
they are playing on the wrong team and that the "at all costs" includes
destroying the ability of musicians to make music and make a living doing
so.
