And they're the ones who usually use a 5-year cost-benefit analysis to
decide whether to do something or not - if they can't see a project
making a profit within 5 years, it doesn't get done, so any residual
income beyond that 5 year horizon is just a bonus to them (a very big 
bonus in many cases).
