  I took notes today, but this didn't relate to our community as much 
although it was of considerable personal interest and my interest in 
international development (both outside and within current Nation States).


  One thing of interest was that between the two sessions I had a chance 
to talk to someone.   This person asked questions about what Free Software 
was all about, and I even described copyleft and non-copyleft.

  This person understood things well enough to go up to the microphone
after the 2'nd session and talk about copyleft as being a model that may
be appropriate to consider for traditional knowledge - you may share this
knowledge, as long as you adhere to a specific set of conditions.

  As I left someone I knew as a past PC MP with the Canadian Government 
asked for more information on copyleft, and I gave him my card to discuss 
things more.   I gave out many business cards and a few copies of 
TheOpenCD.org.


  All in all it was a great event -- personally as all the panels were of 
great interest, but also for our community to have had a representative 
there.
