Labeling is a huge issue here. Any usage of TPM or RMI should have
mandatory labelling laws. This is currently not the case, and I believe
given the current legislators distaste for free market principles and
informed consent, this is unlikely in the short term.
Why do I make that harsh statement about the current legislators? One
only needs to look at the private members bill for mandatory labeling of
GMO foods, a much more series labelling issue, and how it was defeated.
Given that labelling and informed consent is not part of current
government thinking, we must look at this issue differently ourselves.
