  I am wondering if someone who has been following this story could give
us a quick rundown.  Politics of this type could harm us, especially if
there is a question where Heritage Minister Copps allegiances are (IE:  
creators&citizens -vs- well financed lobbiests of publishers.)

The Alliance cry foul and allege corruption over how Liberal leadership
contenders are financing their campaigns -- Sheila Copps is even
threatening to sue. Also, Alliance leader Stephen Harper releases a public
letter inviting the Tories to a party... the Alliance Party, that is. And,
