I think Wiki might be a better match than slash - the thing is that with
slash, there are a relatively small number of "stories" and lots of
comments per story.  How I imagine my proposal is that it would have a
large number of individual points, and relatively few comments for each of
them.  Yesterday's Hansard was roughly 67,000 words long and had 430 link
targets (according to a bit of shell plumbing).  Ideally, I'd like each of
those link targets to be a distinct place where someone could add a
comment - but I wouldn't want to try to use a slash-style site with that
many "articles" per day.  A slash-style site could work if there were
several volunteers going through the transcripts and flagging the
interesting bits to become new "articles", but then it's very much more a
centralized editorial thing than what I had in mind.
