Here speech was also directed against users, too. She was angry
that people used her material without compensation, and without giving
her absolute control over their use of her material.

I got that message, too. I don't understand it.

I'm curious as to how they took my comments:
"I'm from FreeRADIUS.org. We're not interested in TPM's. We give
our copyrighted material away for free. Our business model is
different."
I think that surprised people like Susan Crean. She has a certain
model of the world, and doesn't see how other models can work. She
expects that laws should be enacted to protect her current business
model.
The representative from the Quebec writers guild (? I didn't get an
exact name) was also upset at the recent Supreme Court decision, and
proposed TPM's to keep control in the hands of the authors.
My comment to Gavriel State (Transgaming Technologies) was that if
you didn't understand the technologies involved, then the solutions
were much simpler.
