  Some of us are arguing that some types of monopolies, such as attacks
against private copying, oppose both creator rewards as well as personal
freedom.

  The belief that private copying of works is harm to the creator is a
myth as far as I'm concerned, so will obviously oppose any laws based on
that myth both as a creator and as a citizen.

  Much of this discussion isn't about a ballance between creator and
citizen rights, but power-grabs by mega-media companies ("the hired help")
that are to the detriment of both creators and citizens.
